Just finished teaching this semester at the Anglia Ruskin University. We have some talented people leaving this year at the Computer Games Graphics degree show, which will be on show at the Ruskin Gallery on June 11th. 6-9pm. Pretty darn industry standard stuff!!
Other than that, I’ve had the priveledge to work with Equinox Graphics again. These guys are extremely clever! Been working on a biological piece. Really enjoyed it! Thanks guys! Sorry no preview yet.
So – as promised. The Ely Market Visualisation project.
Last week I had to pitch for the first time ever. I couldn’t resist because the client, and I have to add the client is a renowned historic group got in touch with me, which I was extremely excited about. I can’t give anymore information other than this. Sorry guys.
Have to modernise to stay on top of things. I’m getting an I7 super speed er thing! Don’t want to go into too much techy stuff, but whatever it is – it will make my life soooo much easier and faster, meaning I can render whilst I work. Have real time raytracing solutions, but it still won’t make my dinner!!!
I have a new client today, in which I will collaborate with hopefully. I am as keen as he is in working together on with 3D visuals. Allow me to introduce http://www.puregraphicslondon.com/. These guys have a lot to offer for production services.
I have been busy. With a number of things. Whether it be a quick compositing job for an indie film, where I had to composite smoke and teeth on a chainsaw near a poor ladies face. You can’t do that on a set, because of health and safety.
I had another simple composite job which is public now:-
and that was to track some live footage of a street and composite a techy new style of street lamp. The live footage was shot by a good friend of mine, Adam Smyth, who is very talented, has amazing filming equipment. I’m talking a professional!
BUT – the big one will hit the streets of Ely soon. The announcement was made public in the Ely Standard today.
I have been working with a rather talented bunch of Architects.
All very excited to see visuals of the new building that will replace this. For legal reasons that is as far as I will go. The announcement will be on the 26th March. Watch this space!! I will post the visuals then.
Other than that. I am now teaching part time and I’m very happy to be sharing my knowledge to future wonders of the gaming industry. Busy. Busy. Busy. But yeah – gaining momentum folks!!
Phil Radford tomorrow on an exciting new project to do with Animal heads. It involves a mixture of Modelling, Rigging and Animating. Sounds like fun!!
Welcome to the new and improved Artificial Lens website. Now with lot’s of big graphics, no more waiting around. You can look through my work FAST! Stay in touch and I’ll let you know of any new exciting stuff being created.
